| The staff at Terry Tan Child Centre consists of a majority of trained professionals in Early Childhood Education who are graduates of a recognized college/university program. With ongoing training through a variety of professional development workshops, the teachers at Terry Tan provide unique and diverse programming that stimulates the learning and growth of enrolled children.
The centre employs a cook with consultation from an nutritionist to ensure that meals served to children meet their daily nutritional requirements. Terry Tan employs three Early Childhood Consultants that provide services to child care centres in the City of Toronto.
Terry Tan is a member of the Etobicoke Child Care Network, Ontario Coalition for Better Childcare, Canadian Child Care Federation and Umbrella. Our staff have the opportunity to attend just about any workshops that are available. Some that we take part of when run are : Child Abuse Training, Bullying, Food Handlers, CPR and First Aid.
